Each Saturday the passionate mother of 5 children arranges cookery courses for children in the “Teichhausschlösschen”, the former salt museum in Bad Nauheim. From 10:00 to 16:00 up to ten children experience how to prepare healthy and tasty food, without any usage of flavour enhancer. This includes a briefing about history, origin and characteristics of the ingredients. Under guidance children starting at an age of 5 years are learn using independently professional cooking tools. At 4 big banquet tables the children learn setting the table, serving and table manners. Regular breaks allow the children running and jumping about in the “Kurpark” (spa gardens), which is an important part of Steffi’s “cook and exercise” philosophy.
At the end each child receives a portfolio of detailed recipes, enabling it to show at home what was cooked. Besides the cookery courses on Saturdays we offer vacation courses and extraordinary courses. Dates and further information are available in the category “news”.
